Hunters killing our precious wild cats

          According to sciencedaily.com, in a recent study conducted on the populations of wild cats, the number of lions and cougars killed by hunters over the past 15 to 25 years in Africa and the western United States was analyzed. After the study it was concluded that these animals’ populations are steadily decreasing.  Sport hunting is what a lot of the time has been taking place among these beautiful beasts of nature, and Lion and cougar populations have suffered the greatest decline in African countries and U.S. states where sport hunting has been most intense over the past 25 years. It is understandable that some control needs to be taking place so that life stock can survive, but many people are taking this way too far.

               Scientifically-based strategies that benefit hunters, livestock owners and conservationists need to be developed soon!  Maintaining a healthy population of them will soon be a big big issue! The need for new approaches to protect humans and livestock and to manage sport hunting without endangering these vulnerable species is clear and evident.
              I personally think it's so sad that people are "sporting" away just another of the worlds species. It makes me wonder if in 100 years animals will even exist!! This is so sad that people actually consider this crap a sport! It's not like they're killing for the meat or anything else useful for that matter! NO, they kill for the fun of it. Now I understand completely that some control of these animals needs to take place in rural areas or in places where many animals were killed, but this is ridiculous I love wild cats and it's so sad that soon they may just be another extinct species thanks to mans stupidity.

Lohan seeks plea deal

      

                              

        So everyone's heard about this $2,500 necklace that Lindsay supposedly stole...well this case has been going on for quite some time now with Lohan insisting that she took it by accident and cameras telling a different story. Now, according to buffalonews.com, Lohan seeks a plea deal instead of just going through with the normal court proceedings. A court date has not currently been set yet for her, but her pre trial hearing will be May 11. She told a source close to her that she hopes everything will be resolved before then though.

        Well if you want my honest opinion I think she didn't steel the necklace. I mean this chick would have to be completely brain dead stupid to do something like that! She knew this was a top notch jewelry store, therefore there would be security cameras....and she also knew that it was all eyes on her (ms. famous celebrity) the WHOLE time she was there! So why would she steal it? She has 2 and a half grand in her back pocket anyway probably so it's not like she didn't have the money for it! That money to her is like us having five bucks come on why would she NEED to steal it! And she walked out casually with it I thought when I saw the video. If she were stealing it, I think she would have like put it in her purse of pocket or something verses just walking out with it in her hand! It looked like a mistake to me.

       On the other hand you never know, this chick's crazy! I would not put it past her to steal anything! She's always being an immature little B**** that needs to grow up, and she probably WOULD steel given the opportunity...so it's a tough one....I don't know what do you guys think??

A.K.A. a bikini wax for men......wow.....awkward.....This wax takes it ALL off! This deal seems to be really popular. I guess there are a lot of guys out there that don't care much for manly hairiness all over the place. Instead these men prefer ultimate smoothness!
      Well....first of all.... I don't think everyone should be jumping to mean and unfair conclusions about this sale being "completely gay" and all those men being "totally homosexual". Because it's THEIR deal and THEIR business! Who cares if guys don't want to be hairy? That's their own choice, they can do what they want with their bodies. Granted I do think it's definitely weird that a guy would want that excruciating pain...and would even CARE for that matter about being hairy...but HEY it's their choice, their call.

Man kills his beloved then takes his own life

         According to gazette.com, early yesterday morning two lives were taken by the same man in Pueblo County. 42 year old Roseanna A. Vigil died of multiple gunshot wounds to her chest area...this was the conclusion of Pueblo County Coroner James Kramer. The man who pulled the trigger? Well it was the man who loved Roseanna to the point of”obsession", 37 year old Brian John Wiersema. He then proceeded to take his own life by driving off a 240-foot ravine near the Royal Gorge, being not able to survive without her.
            An investigation is still taking place, but the general idea the police have from neighbors and co-workers of the two, is that a quarrel took place between the two Saturday night that ended in extreme tragedy. No one yet knows exactly WHAT was discussed during this fight, but is was enough to spiral the situation out of control and end in death for Vigil. This whole situation is somewhat of a shocker due to the fact that Brian was completely in love with Roseanna. So whatever did transpire that night that led to Brian murdering his loved one, remains a mystery.
           Well this makes me sick, what probably happened is this woman wanted to break up with this obsessed weirdo, and he couldn't take it and went with the policy of "if I can't have her no one can". Yet if he truly did love her, he would have wanted her to live and be happy even if it WASN'T with HIM!!! Yet he most likely killed her so that no one could have her, and then killed himself because he "loved" her to much to be able to live without her. May be if he wouldn't have been so crazy they could have worked things out and made it through without having to DIE!!! But whatever, just goes to show you pick your men wisely. Make sure your boyfriend's not going to kill you if you get in a fight!

Charlie Sheen "layed an egg" (bombed it)

             

               



               So good old Charlie's been in the news A LOT lately it seems. One thing's for sure, things aren't the same at all in Sheen's career. According to Nationalenguirer.com, Charlie's once appreciative and loving fans booed him off the stage at the Detroit preem. of his "delusional tour". With 4700 seats filled and eagerly awaiting Charlie, thunderous applause broke out upon his arrival. Things seemed to START OFF good.
              Yet once Charlie began a warm up comic act, fans were apparently very disappointed with the "tired shtick", and soon began to boo. An odd series of random clips were then shown on giant monitors. Charlie was again booed, as the crowd began getting angrier. Then around 9 p.m. the 'actual' show started apparently and was worse yet. The crowd went livid, demanding their money back. Charlie then left the stage rubbing it in the crowds’ face that it was too late he already had their money.....so wow....nice one Charlie.
              Okay, well let me just start off by saying I love Charlie Sheen, I think he's an amazing actor that has so much potential. Charlie Sheen has always made me laugh...so why is he throwing everything away?? What the %$#@ has happened to the guy:( ?? If he's not going to take a performance seriously, and just half shit it, then what does he EXPECT his crowd to do?!! I would have done the exact same thing. He's disappointed a lot of people I think it's fair to say. In my opinion he should get it the F together again because this guy's funny, he just needs to stop being so stupid.
             

New species in Papua New Guinea

     
         According to treehugger.com, Papua New Guinea is the place to go if you're interested in discovering new, previously unknown species. Researchers back from a two month long exploration of the inner depths of the Papua New Guinea forests, reported that over 200 different species were recorded that were previously unknown to science and the world. Dozens of new frog species, nine new plants, two new mammals, and nearly 100 new insects, were some of the amazing discoveries recorded from the exploration.
                  The Tube-nosed fruit bat (in picture above), Pink-eyed katydids, carnivorous plants, and a unique species of tree-dwelling ants were among SOME of the newly discovered animals.  The Scientists suggest that further explorations into the depths of the mysterious forests of Papua New Guinea will uncover even MORE undiscovered species. These discoveries are so important to the knowledge of wild life biologists and scientists around the world. These new findings increase scientist’s knowledge of the wildlife of the world in general, and unlock many other possibilities for new species.

                    I admire the scientists who are in the wild uncovering these mysteriouse new animals. When they discover new species like this, it could give hints and information on important issues and debates such as theorys of evolution. These discoveries also could conclude that new species are being CREATED. I think these new discovered animals are awesome, and I hope there will be more.                                  

Exerciseing Reversing aging?!

             

                                                                 

             According to AOL news, a breakthrough and groundbreaking study was recently conducted concluding that people who exercise REALLY DO have longer and happier lives and are physically active at an older age than "couch potatoes". You'll even stay away from wrinkles and grey hair longer if you commonly exercise. How was this study conducted? As always, with mice.
             Two groups of mice were used in this experiment that were both genetically engineered to prematurely age. The first group of mice were placed in a cage where they did nothing but lay around and eat for a few months. While the other group of mice exercised and ran on mini treadmills three times a week for the duration of the months. The results were staggering! We already knew that with good exercise, you're healthier, live longer, and are in better shape, but this study really showed the systemic effects of exercise and physical therapy that's available to most people if they got off the couch and just made an effort a LITTLE MORE! The mice who worked out had a much greater running capacity, their ORGANS were healthier and functioned much better (not only the muscles and heart but the brain, gonads, and kidneys), their fur was much glossier and thick, EVERY organ of those mice who exercised was healthier. These mice lived months longer than the other group (which in comparison to a human would be like living YEARS longer).

              I think this study shows A LOT! We could learn so much from these results, and help create a healthier society. Today's typical American is obese and there are so many different health related issues in today’s world, that could be prevented with just a little exercise and a better diet. This really could save lives.

             
   Ever wonder how the criminals you hear about on tv. can possibly do the inhuman evil things that they do? Do you wonder how they could ever possibly have it in them to torture and kill fifteen children just because they can, brutally rape women, or blow up a whole building of people? Well have you ever considered that their minds don't work the way yours does? That not only do they THINK differently than the rest of the population, but their brains ACTUALLY function and work completely differently? Behind this research could be the key to finding out why crazed serial killers and rapists act the way they do, and more importantly how we could stop it.
                 According to fox news, the latest neuroscience research shows that compared to people without antisocial personality disorder- a condition that characterizes many convicted criminals- an 18-percent reduction in the volume of the brain's middle frontal gyrus, and a 9 percent reduction in the volume of the orbital frontal gyrus (two sections of the brain) was found in the people with this disorder. These conditions could cause a person to have no general understanding of the basics of right and wrong, therefore causing violent outbreaks from as small as steeling a candy bar, to as severe as murder. Another research showed that many people who are convicted murderers show damage to a part of the brain called the amygdale; this is the part of the brain where your emotions set.
                  I believe this research is crucially important. If scientists have gotten this FAR in depicting the criminal mind phycologicly and finding out WHY exactly mindless criminals act this way, then maybe they could go a little further eventually and create a cure for these kind of brain deficiencies. Then if people start to show signs of having these disorders, they could start medication from an early state and may be murder could be avoided. Of course scientists could not solve near all murders and crime this way. It would be impossible to find out the reasoning behind all crime, but this could really help and I think it's worth trying.

         So this blog will really only be remotely interesting to anyone who watches Jersey Shore:)... The ever so unique drama queen, self-professed, hair "poof" sporting, SNOOKIE is voted the most popular and entertaining Jersey Shore character! This 4'9 little party animal can be a fiery little devil! Everyone loves the snook, but there's probably a lot you don't know about her.
          Nicole Polizze was born in 1987 in Chili, though she also comes from Italian decent. Due to the extreme poverty in Chili, many children are put up for adoption. Italian-American adoption parents brought Nicole to America when she was 6 months old where she grew up in Malboro, New York. She got her name "Snookie" after it became apparent from middle school, that she was boy crazy! During high school snookie was a star cheerleader and popular boy tease. Snookie attended community college studying to be a veterinarian... but I guess academics weren't really her thing turns out:)
         So how did Snookie make it big? According to popeater.com, Nicole answered an MTV Facebook add. looking for young Italian-Americans who like to party at the Jersey Shore for a new reality series. This decision made Snookie's life. Out the millions wanting to make it, our beloved Snookie, Jenni Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Samantha Giancola, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Paul DelVecchio, Michael Sorrentino, and Angelina Pivarnick got their lives changed that day.
       In my opinion...A lot of what happens on Jersey Shore is ridiculous and I would NEVER live my life that way..... but HELL I LOVE THAT SHOW:) It's the most entertaining show that I can watch for HOURS! I get so into it and can't wait to see what drama happens next! Yeah...the people in it are pretty shallow and...Easy... ha-ha, but that show is so entertaining and those characters are making millions! I love it and I LOVE snookie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Has Rihanna been sexting Coling Farrell?"...and do we REALLY care???

             Rihanna was reportedly charmed after meeting womanizer Colin Farrell on the U.K. chat show 'The Graham Norton Show', and apparently can't get enough of him now! According to popeater, there were extremely "raunchy" text messages going back and forth between the two. On the show, Farrell made comments about Rihanna's sexy legs and Rihanna casually began talking about her wax job she’d be getting soon, which really excited Colin. Their conversations carried on after the show, and seemingly got PRETTY intense. Both celebrities have recently split with their former lovers and this may look like a new love interest....or they may just leave it at sexting who knows!?

            Well first off, how and WHY do people know this extremely personal stuff about these people's lives? How do they even GET this information???!!! And second off, who cares!!! This should be between Rihanna and Farrell NOT THE WHOLE WORLD! They're single adults, they should be able to sext if they want to without the whole world knowing about it and judging them! Why does everything need to be publicized!?
            I don't understand why these people THRIVE off publicity like this! It's like every little detail about their personal lives (even the littlest detail about what they say when they're sexting) is revealed to the whole world! Why can't they just sext in private? That's their own deal; people don't need to be putting this kind of "valuable and informative news" out to the world! For god's sake LEAVE RIHANNA'S SEX LIFE TO HER! That's HER business not the country’s.

Lady Gaga....Pot head

      In a recent sit down interview before the Grammys, Lady Gaga decided she wanted to be honest and admit to her fans and the world that she's...well...a pot head. She admitted that she often smokes pot while writing her songs accourding to Pop Eater. During this interview Lady Gaga showed up in a flesh colored leotard because she apparently "didn't feel like wearing cloths" right then. She claims she's done with cocaine, but she's not going to lie about her marijuana usage. She says many celebrities lie about their bad habits, but she wants honesty and to be open for her fans who she loves and doesn't want to lie to.
       Well first off, let me just say that I love Lady Gaga. She's so different and unique and doesn't seem to care what people think about her, and I greatly admire that. Her music is amazing, her attire...interesting...but lovely most of the time, and her attitude is so different from the stuck up attitude of most celebrities, and I truly do admire her honesty. She's right, most celebrities would lie in an interview about their not so redeeming characteristics, but Lady Gaga was completely honest despite what a lot of people might think about her marijuana habit.
        But I think this extreme drug problem circulating through the celebrity world is a big problem. And let's not just target Lady Gaga, just because she's the only one who will admit to it does NOT mean she's the only celebrity pot head. If we're being honest with ourselves, ALOT of celebrities are drug addicts of some sort or another. I believe this is a huge problem! Just because celebrities get most things handed to them easily and are rich and thrive off publicity while partying, does that necessarily mean they need to party 50% of the time and get addicted to drugs and alcohol in the process!
      And....if anyone could just go around practically naked whenever they "didn't feel like wearing cloths", I think this world would be a very disgusting place! Everyone accepts Lady Gaga's nudity...but if everyone had her policy in life there would be fat old guys naked at the movie theatre or in the mall and I DON'T think THAT would be as accepted!! YOU'DE GET ARRESTED! So what does everyone else think of Lady Gaga as a person?

Real Monsters in today's society. Animal Abuse!

       

More than 20 animal carcasses were found in the back yard of a long Island home. hmm...murdering 20 animals isn't enough? Well Five dogs and a cat are inside dyeing slowly of maltreatment inside small, cramped cages. Sharon McDonough, 43, of Selden is the monster behind the hell. She was released without bail following her arrest on Saturday on six counts of animal cruelty for the dogs and cat suffering inside. An investigation is currently taking place as to if the dead carcasses in the backyard were mistreated and abused as well, if so additional charges will be placed. Wow still not enough horror for you? Well it seems lately neighbors in the nearby area have been reporting ALOT of missing pets. So...if it's not enough to torture animals to death, let's make it STOLEN animals that are loved and greatly missed by people.

       This is the kind of thing that makes me want to become an animal cop. Monsters like this, that have no problem killing an innocent being that's done absolutely nothing wrong. She wasn't just satisfied with killing either. She felt obligated to make the animals suffer and die slowly and painfully of starvation in small cages. I want to call this THING of a woman so much right now. Being a huge animal lover, I can't even begin to express how I feel about this woman.
      How could you get pleasure with putting animals through pain? It would have been better if this woman would have just put a bullet through their heads. Because can you imagine hour upon hour, day after day, pacing back and forth with nothing to do and nowhere to go, nowhere to stretch your legs even? Can you imagine slowly growing weaker and hungrier until the point where you WISH you were dead?
     And the woman's not the only severely messed up one in this case! They released this demon without bail. Why the $%#$ would you let someone out like that???? And they're "investigating the DEAD carcasses in the back yard to see if they too were possibly abused"....wow hmm I wonder. She needs to be in jail...for a VERY long time. And if one of MY pets were stolen and killed by this barbarian, I would do whatever it took for the rest of my LIFE if I had to to get her behind bars.
     You know what, I can't even talk about this anymore. It's making me to mad. Our world is a very messed up, confused, and horrible place if we can let monsters like this do whatever they want and get out of jail so quickly and easily for it. I wish more people cared what happened to animals. Animals need certain rights too. NO ONE should have the right to do this to any living creature.
